The purpose of the site is
to give you VICTORY to the point that you will want to PRAISE & WORSHIP THE
LORD.
The first word is VICTORY. As I think about
that, if people have victory there must be battles. If there are battles there
has to be an enemy. If one wins, the other loses. Wow, I like that victory part
because I know that when it comes to the church the enemy is the devil and he is
defeated. I know Jesus
said in
John
10:10 the devil wants to rob us, he wants to kill us and he wants to destroy us.
The thief cometh
not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might
have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
I know Jesus wants
His people to have the abundant life.
I know if people have victory they are serving
Jesus. Jesus is the one who gives us victory. I suppose every person reading this
is going through some type of battle. If you aren't, you may have just come out
of a battle and for sure you will be in another in the near future. I don’t
care what battle you are facing. It may be finances, it may be sickness, it may
be a family problem, it may be a martial problem, a drug problem. It doesn’t
matter what the problem is, the root cause of that problem is the devil and
Jesus has defeated him.
VICTORY. We sing the song victory in Jesus. Jesus is the one who gives us
victory. There are times that we are seeking to get victory over problems we
face. Some preachers will tell the people get saved and your problems will all
be gone. Where has that guy been. When we get saved Satan will try to rob you of
what Jesus had given you. The devil don’t want you to have peace, joy and
happiness and he will do what he can to take that from you. He is out to get us.
That is why it is so important for us to help one another. To pray for one
another. The Bible tells us that as we draw near to the end times we need to
come together more because Satan is doing his best to destroy people. He wants
to destroy families, churches and his main goal is to destroy you.
Many Christians live a life of struggle
because they try to defeat Satan on their own and we can’t do it. Victory
comes through Christ. 1 Cor. 15:57 But
thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said when you have a problem bring it
to Him. Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
I can assure that the only way to have
VICTORY is through Jesus Christ. There is no VICTORIES till we win the battles.
We are in a battle. The battle we are in is one that you can’t win with the
flesh. This is a Spiritual battle.
Eph. 6:12 says For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness
in high places.
Jesus went to the cross and in doing that
Satan was defeated. You and I have victory over Satan because of Jesus. Jesus
has given us His power to defeat Satan.
Luke 10:19 says Behold, I
give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power
of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
We have God’s power. Power to defeat
Satan. He can’t hurt you.
So when we trust Jesus we get the VICTORY.
When you get the VICTORY you want everyone
to know. So you start to PRAISE God.
Praise: means to glorify God. There is a song that says if you
want to please the father brag about his son. If you want to praise God brag
about His son Jesus. When you get victory you want to share that with anyone who
will listen.
When we talk about what
Jesus does we are praising God. Victory brings praise. And then praise carries
us over into WORSHIP of God.
We praise God for all His
mighty works and who He is. We love Him so much we WORSHIP Him. We worship Him
for who He is. Not for what He can give us.
When you WORSHIP someone, you want to be in their
presence as much as you can. They are the one you want to talk about all the
time.
Where they are, that is where you want to be. You
can’t get enough of them. You do all you can for them. You adore them. You are
in awe of them. Your hearts desire is to please them. To be like them.
VICTORY PRAISE AND WORSHIP is a place where
VICTORIES are won, where God is being praised for who He is and He is the one we
worship. He has first place
