HELL IS A LITERAL PLACE
Some people say hell isn’t real. Hell is here on earth, hell is a state of mind etc.
Well hell is a real place. It was never intended for man. It was created for the devil and his demons.
The sad part of it is that some people are going to end up there too. Not because God wants them to, but because they refuse to accept what Jesus did for them on the cross.
Read Luke the 16th chapter, starting at the 19th verse to get a picture of a man who went to hell and what hell is.
Know this you will die one day and then you will go to heaven or this place called hell. The Bible says
Heb. 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Death is a sure thing, but it seems men fail to realize that after death there will be judgment. Every person will stand before God and give an account of his life here on earth. There is no second chance once we die.
Something we need to know is that those in hell will be tormented with fire. The rich man we read about in Luke 16 says he is tormented in this flame. This is not symbolic fire. This is literal. Man can say there is no hell. It is a state of mind. Man can say whatever he wants to say, but truth is truth and it CANNOT be changed no matter what man says or does.
I believe people who go to hell will relive their life here on earth over and over again. They will remember every time God spoke to them and they said no. They will remember all the things they could have done and didn’t. Hell is not a nice place. It is place where those who are there will be tormented with fire forever. Never will it end. God didn’t create hell for man. But if man rejects God. If man refuses to accept what Jesus did at Calvary for him then he too will go to hell because he rejects the Son of God. The Bible tells us who will end up in hell.
Rev. 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
People don’t want to talk about hell. Even some Christians don’t want their preacher talking about hell. We need to talk about it. The Bible speaks of hell 54 times. It is a place you don’t want to go to.
The good news is you don’t have to go there. The Bible speaks about another place called heaven. That is where God sits & Jesus sits on His right hand speaking to God on our behalf. Jesus paid the price. He GAVE His life for us so we could go to heaven and not hell.
The Bible tells us in
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, (you & me) that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; (you & me) but that the world through him might be saved.
God don’t want you to go to hell. The bottom line is, you will make the choice.
